Join OISS for the largest international celebration of the year! Global Festival will take place Saturday, November 11, 2023 in the MSU International Center. The event takes place from 1 to 5 p.m. International souvenirs are for sale at the Global Gift Shop, opening an hour early at 12 p.m., where all proceeds benefit international student scholarships. Global Festival seeks to engage students, MSU faculty and staff, and the greater Lansing community of all ages in learning about the many cultures represented by international students at MSU. Students prepare country-specific exhibits featuring cultural artifacts and information, while live performances highlight traditional music, dances, and martial arts from around the world.

International Education Week celebrates the benefits of international education and exchange worldwide. As a top global university, MSU recognizes the high value of international engagement and its essential role in MSU's mission to advance knowledge and transform lives. This joint initiative of the U.S. Department of State and the U.S. Department of Education is part of the effort to promote programs that prepare Americans for a global environment and attract future leaders from abroad to study, learn and exchange experiences.
